Installation Instructions for Halloween Pumpkin Hunt
Follow these steps to install and configure
gs_pumpkinhunt on your FiveM server.

Download the Resource
- Go to portal.cfx.re

Navigate to Assets > Granted Assets >
gs_pumpkinhunt - Download the resource

Extract the Files

Open the downloaded
.zipfile -
Inside, you'll find a folder named
gs_pumpkinhunt -
Move the entire
gs_pumpkinhuntfolder into your desired server resources folder (e.g.,/resources/[scripts])

Add to Server Configuration
- Open your
server.cfg -
Add the following line:
ensure gs_pumpkinhunt
- Open your

Restart the Server
- Restart your FiveM server (Important!)

Configure the Script (Optional)
- Navigate to
gs_pumpkinhunt/config.lua - Edit the configuration options to fit your server's needs

Which frameworks does Pumpkin Hunt support?
ESX and QBCore are supported. Qbox is compatible through the QBCore bridge path.
Does Pumpkin Hunt work with qb-target?
Yes. qb-target is supported through the bridge. Start qb-target before gs_pumpkinhunt.
Does Pumpkin Hunt work with ox_target?
Yes. ox_target is supported and is checked first when both target systems are present. Start ox_target before gs_pumpkinhunt. Pickup label, icon, and interaction distance come from Config.Target in config.
Can I run ox_target and qb-target together?
No. Do not run both target systems on the same server. Choose one and configure the bridge accordingly.
Pumpkins are not appearing or the prop looks wrong
Verify the pumpkin prop model loads on your server. Check spawn zones, blip settings, and reward config in config.lua. Confirm the resource starts without errors in the server console.
Can I customize spawn zones, rewards, and jumpscares?
Yes. Spawn zones, rewards, blips, animations, zone markers, pickup effects, and jumpscare behavior are all configurable in config.lua.
